Even in my wildest party days (circa 2012 when bodycon club dresses filled my mind and closet), I’ve really always been a homebody at heart. I am the type of girl who relishes in all things cozy. I’d take a night in watching Living Single curled up on my couch any day of the week. I revel in plush pillows, sandalwood-scented candles, velvety blankets, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the comfort of my abode.
And as of late, the furthest thing from my mind has been the motivation to dress in actual clothes since the start of this whole stay at home program. Nesting has taken over, and I’ve welcomed it with open arms. So since my middle name is basically snuggly, I’d say I’m pretty well-versed in the art of dressing at home. The temptation is definitely there: pick out the first thing in my closet and not paying attention to if it matches or not. Because who is going to see me anyway, right?
Well friends, I have some news for us ladies who prefer comfy dressing — there’s loungewear that allows us to be cozy in style. Scroll below as I share some loungewear pieces that will take your look from homey to hottie (corny, I know).
